YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) -- Fire crews responded to a shed fire Monday afternoon in the Bethel Mobile Home Village, according to the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety.

The fire happened around 3 p.m. in the 3500 block of Hampton Highway (Rt. 134). The Langley AFB Fire Department provided mutual aid, and the fire was quickly extinguished. The York County Department of Fire and Life Safety later arrived and began overhaul.

According to officials, a passerby witnessed smoke and flames coming from a shed and called to report it.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
