Temperatures remain 10-15° above normal through Saturday as a ridge of high pressure holds across the western half of the United States.

We hang onto a bit of a breeze the next few days, but morning lows are mild, and daytime highs hold in the lower 80s.

Big changes arrive late Saturday into Sunday, however, as a strong fall cold front moves through the center of the country.

While it doesn't bring any moisture to North Texas, it does bring a steep drop in temperatures.

Sunday morning's temperatures fall to the upper 40s, which is right near normal for this time of year. But by Sunday afternoon, highs only reach the mid to upper 50s, which is a 20-25° drop from where we'll be Saturday.
