New Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner felt for a poor Jets fan who cried when finding out the news that Gardner had been traded.

A dad shared a video on social media of him breaking the news to his two kids that the Jets held a fire sale and traded away Gardner and defensive tackle Quinnen Williams before the 2025 trade deadline.

One of the kids immediately started crying over the Gardner news in particular before soon declaring himself a new Colts fan. His dad told him they'd replace his Gardner Jets jersey with a new one.

Gardner watched the video in question and playfully wondered why the dad didn't at least wait a day on breaking the bad news.

Hey, we get it! For Jets fans, watching some of your best players get traded is brutal. We wonder if this kid will go through with his plan to cheer on the Colts now. Maybe Gardner will send him a signed Indy jersey?
