Lancers, Hawks in volleyball final

The top-seeded Ursuline Lancers will host the Chatham-Kent Golden Hawks in the LKSSAA senior boys’ AAA volleyball final Friday at 7 p.m. Article content Article content Article content

Ursuline swept Great Lakes (25-6, 25-12, 25-19) and Chatham-Kent beat St. Patrick’s 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-17) in the semifinals Tuesday.

Defending champion Ursuline was 12-0-0 in the regular season and Chatham-Kent was second at 7-3-2.

Chatham-Kent will visit top-seeded St. Patrick’s for the junior AAA final Friday.

Chatham-Kent beat Ursuline 3-2 (25-18, 27-29, 25-17, 20-25, 15-13) and St. Patrick’s swept Great Lakes 3-0 (25-7, 25-14, 25-6) in the semifinals Tuesday.
