Bismarck health store doing its best to help people in need during shutdown

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Terry’s Health Products in Bismarck is helping families in need during the government shutdown.

They’ve put together some meal kits with pasta, vegetables, sauce and other items.

If anyone needs a kit, all they have to do is ask for the Terry’s special.

So far, not a lot of people have asked for them, but instead are paying it forward.

“We’ve had a lot of people coming in asking if they can contribute to it. So we’ve actually had people buy these meals and then we’ve added to the bags that we are giving away,” said Terry’s Health Products employee Nina Torola-Jallah.

Terry’s Health Products is trying to help at least 20 families have at least one meal.

They’re located at 717 East Main in Bismarck.
