FOXBOROUGH – Wherever Drake Maye goes, Patriots fans go crazy.

As the second-year quarterback continues to elevate his game, the community has shown its support. Patriots fans have showered Maye with praise at various local appearances. That was seen twice this week as Maye sat courtside at the Celtics game on Monday and then gave a speech to students at Bryant University on Tuesday.

In each case, fans went crazy for their quarterback.

At the Celtics game, Maye was sitting with his wife, Ann Michael, and teammate Will Campbell when they were shown on the TD Garden jumbotron. Soon after, cameras pointed to a boy wearing a shirt that said, “I love Drake Maye.”

On Tuesday, when Maye was introduced at Bryant, the auditorium erupted with “MVP!” chants.
