Dallas has attracted its first Taiwanese bank, the latest sign of the city's emergence as a global financial center and the appeal of "Y'all Street" even outside U.S. borders.

E.Sun Bank, one of the 20 largest banks in Taiwan with $140 billion in assets and a market capitalization exceeding $17 billion, celebrated the opening of its first Texas office on Oct. 30. The representative office occupying 2,900 square feet in the KPMG Plaza tower at 2323 Ross Ave. in the Arts District marks the financial giant's second U.S. location, after Los Angeles.
