In an unusual form of protest, students of the prestigious Ravenshaw University in Cuttack on Thursday took their classes to the road to highlight the unsafe conditions of their classrooms. The demonstration comes after repeated complaints to the university authorities reportedly went unheard.

Expressing discontentment, Plus III second-year students of the arts stream sat on the roadside, setting up a makeshift classroom and continuing their lessons in protest.

The students claimed that the ‘university classrooms are in a dilapidated state’, posing a risk to their safety.
