On Tuesday of this week, middle-years students at Souris School participated in a special ceremony to remember Canada's fallen soldiers and veterans through the 'No Stone Left Alone' initiative.

Ryan Lawson hails from Souris, and remembers when he was a student at Souris School, but didn't really understand what Remembrance Day ceremonies were all about. Since 2013, Lawson has taken the lead on both the Souris and the Brandon ceremonies, to help students better understand and reflect on how our young Canadians gave their lives for our freedoms.
