A plan to build more than 100 homes in a Solihull village has been revealed.
Developer Spitfire Homes are behind the plans which has been lodged with Solihull Council as a hybrid application.
It is being proposed 133 homes are built on land at Oakes Farm in Balsall Common.
A design and access statement included in the application, which was submitted in September, says: "The site benefits from the nearby Balsall Common Primary and Heart of England Secondary School.
"Balsall Common has a range of small convenience stores and small shops in addition to the retained Oakes Farm Shop itself.
"Key benefits the proposal brings include delivery of a minimum of 50 per cent affordable dwellings; a mix of house types and sizes, catering for varied local housing needs; delivery of community benef
