Top Taco, The Republic's annual quest to find who makes the best taco in metro Phoenix, according to readers, returned for its third year. And this time, a new winner has been declared.

Taco Papi, a two-year-old Scottsdale Mexican restaurant, earned the most votes, making them the Top Taco 2025 champion.

The restaurant was opened by business partners and friends Harsimran Sodhi and Gabriel Betancourt.
