(Cleveland)- After several mild, sunny days, a powerful cold front is on the way to Northeast Georgia. The next weather system will bring the chilliest air of the season to northern Georgia early next week.

The front is due to arrive Sunday into Sunday night, followed by a much colder airmass that will send temperatures below freezing across the entire region.

Enjoy a couple of nice days today and Friday. Sunday will be a day of drastic change. A cold front will approach and move through from the west, resulting in a significant temperature drop. Highs on Sunday will also vary wildly across the region. Some mountain locations may not reach much higher than the low-50s.
