Texas loses one of the best 2026 DL's in the country after visiting SEC foe
Four-star defensive lineman Dylan Berymon has decommitted from Texas, he told Rivals on Wednesday. This marks a major setback for Steve Sarkisian’s 2026 recruiting class.
Berymon, the No. 4 prospect in Louisiana and Rivals’ No. 23 defensive lineman nationally, originally committed to Texas in June. Despite that pledge, USC, Mississippi State, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M all continued to pursue him aggressively throughout the fall.
The Monroe (La.) Ouachita Parish standout has made multiple visits this season, including two to Ole Miss, most recently attending the Rebels’ matchup against LSU in Oxford. His decommitment comes less than five weeks before the Early Signing Period, reopening
