Netflix has revealed an exciting new casting addition for One Piece, which has already been commissioned for another run.
Cobra Kai actor Xolo Maridueña has been confirmed to portray Portgas D. Ace in the upcoming instalment, with filming scheduled to resume in Cape Town, South Africa, during 2025.
The programme received its third series renewal in August, with Maridueña joining the recently announced Cole Escola, who will take on the role of flamboyant assassin Bon Clay.
The 24 year old Maridueña has previously appeared in Blue Beetle and Parenthood, alongside his Cobra Kai work.
Series two of One Piece is scheduled to premiere on 10 March 2026, continuing the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his Straw Hats crew across the high seas, reports the Expr
