The Malleswaram Police based on credible information that a person near the Jataka Stand on R.P.Road was selling Ganja and Weed Oil (Hashish) kept in a bag to customers at higher prices for illegal profit.

Acting on this information,the police conducted a raid and apprehended one person.

Upon interrogation,the accused revealed that he was from another state and had come to Bengaluru for his education.

Due to financial difficulties in paying college fees,he purchased Ganja and Weed Oil (Hashish) at a low price from an unknown person and started selling them to customers for a higher profit.

The police seized 360 grams of Ganja,1250 grams of Weed Oil (Hashish),a weighing machine,a mobile phone, and Rs.1,500 cash total value of Rs.15. 8 lakh seized from him .
