HOUSTON – The Texans, through its sister company, Lone Star Sports & Entertainment, are expanding into the professional volleyball business.

They have acquired the League One Volleyball Houston team.

Led by Texans principal owner and CEL Cal McNair and foundation vice president Hannah McNair, LSSE wanted to expand within the Houston sports landscape and advance youth and female sports.

Founded in 2020, LOVB is the largest community in youth volleyball, and its professional volleyball league will embark on its second season this January. The pro league features teams in Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Madison, Nebraska, and Salt Lake City.

Los Angeles is slated to join the league in 2027.
