There's nothing more maddening than emptying the dishwasher only to discover your glassware looking hazy, streaked, or coated in an unpleasant film. Rather than gleaming, they appear lacklustre and grubby - and endless buffing doesn't seem to make any difference.
Hazy or film-covered glasses are a widespread issue, but fortunately, they can be sorted. Drinking glasses washed in hard water are susceptible to mineral build-up, such as calcium and magnesium, that stick to surfaces and form a hazy, milky layer.
