The legal battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over their former French winery, Château Miraval, continues to escalate. In newly filed court documents, Pitt has stated he is seeking $35 million in damages related to Jolie’s 2021 sale of her stake in the vineyard to Stoli Group’s wine division, Tenute del Mondo, a move he claims violated their prior agreement as co-owners.

According to the filings submitted on October 29, Pitt’s legal team included email exchanges from 2023 between the ex-couple’s lawyers. One of the exhibits is a November 2023 email in which Jolie’s attorneys directly reference the substantial damages Pitt is pursuing.
