A West Lothian man was taken to hospital following a crash on a busy Longridge road this morning.

The incident took place on the B7010 Fauldhouse Road at around 10am on Thursday, November 6 and involved just a single vehicle.

Police Scotland confirmed one man was taken to hospital and the road was closed to allow for the car to be recovered.

Buses were also diverted from the scene while the road was closed and West Lothian Council warned locals of the closure.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10am on Thursday, 6 November, 2025 we were called to a report of a one-car crash on Fauldhouse Road, Longridge.

"A man was taken to hospital as a precaution. The road was closed to allow for recovery.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
