WASHINGTON — Michael Jackson's nephew, Jaafar Jackson , transforms into the King of Pop in the first trailer for the upcoming biopic “Michael.”

Lionsgate released the official teaser on Thursday, ahead of the movie's scheduled release on April 24, 2026.

Jaafar Jackson, 29, is the second-youngest son of Jermaine Jackson, Michael’s brother. He stars as his famous uncle, and Antoine Fuqua directs. The film is being produced by Oscar-winning “Bohemian Rhapsody” producer Graham King.

The teaser heavily features Jackson in the studio with Quincy Jones, played by Kendrick Sampson.

The biopic also stars Miles Teller, Colman Domingo and Nia Long.
