A young man has died after a coach rolled back and hit him at a bus station, causing fatal injuries. Emergency services were called to Ormskirk Bus Station in Lancashire to reports of a crash at around 11.45am on September 26.

When officers arrived at the scene, on St Helens Road at the junction with Moor Street, they found that a Temsa single decker coach had rolled back and hit the man in his 20s.

Lancashire Police confirmed no one was driving the coach at the time of the collision. In an update issued today (November 6), the force said that the man, who has not been named, died several days later at the beginning of October.

Police said their thoughts remain with his loved ones, who are being supported by specially trained officers.
