SWAIN COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) - The Swain County Sheriff's Office said they are currently searching for a man following a shooting that temporarily closed off Hyatt Creek Road.

Deputies were called out to Hyatt Creek Road, near the intersection of Walker Woody Road, to investigate a reported shooting incident. Details remain limited at this time regarding the incident.

Following an investigation, deputies said they are now looking for 24-year-old Luis Alfredo Reynosa. Reynosa is potentially driving in a white Chevrolet Camaro with the North Carolina license plate KJD6729.

Reynosa is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached. If spotted, authorities asks citizens to call 911 or the Swain County Sheriff's Office at (828) 488-0159.
