Ontario International Airport is listed among the 40 busiest hubs nationally that will see flights cut starting Friday due to the government shutdown, according to the Associated Press.
ONT officials have not yet confirmed any specific cuts but in a social media post Thursday morning, officials said they are aware of the list.
“Ontario International Airport is aware of the comments made on Wednesday by the U.S. Transportation Secretary and the list of impacted airports that’s now being circulated by media outlets,” the post reads. “We’re closely monitoring the situation, and we stand ready to support our airline and federal partners.”
