SANFORD, Fla. – Seminole High School in Sanford is on a lockdown Thursday due to police activity in the area.

The school, located on Ridgewood Avenue north of Airport Boulevard and Orlando Drive, was placed on a Code Yellow lockdown, meaning no one can enter or leave campus, according to school officials.

The school alerted families about the lockdown.
