Democrats won big in Tuesday's elections, with solid victories in California, Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City, as well as the retention of three Supreme Court Justices in Pennsylvania and the election of two state Public Service Commissioners in Georgia, due in large part to the repudiation of Donald Trump's broken economic promises and the strong leadership of California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
