Donald Trump is proposing an “Arc de Trump,” and it may come at a huge cost.

He first spoke to the idea of building a huge monument to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States while talking to donors back in October, showing off mockups of the proposed structure featuring marble statues of eagles and a golden Lady Liberty.

It earned its nickname because of its resemblance to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France, per People .

“Every time somebody rides over that beautiful bridge to the Lincoln Memorial, they literally say something is supposed be here,” he said, via BBC .
