As the federal government continues its record-breaking shutdown, airports may start to reduce flights.

A total of 40 major airports in America will begin a 10% cut in flights Nov. 7, as announced by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

Included in the 40 airports is Philadelphia International Airport, which already faced changes this week when two TSA checkpoints began a temporary closure.

Other airports nearby that are expected to be affected are Newark Liberty International, New York John F. Kennedy International and New York LaGuardia.
