Warner Bros. is giving Superman a serious awards push, submitting it for the Golden Globes. Yet, despite the movie being based on a comic book property, and comic books deriving from the same root as comedy, Superman will not be submitted in the Musical or Comedy Category. According to Variety, Warner Bros. is submitting Superman for consideration at the Golden Globes in the Drama category.
