As the federal government shutdown drags on and millions of Americans are impacted by a disruption to essential services, including SNAP benefits , air travel may be the next industry to feel the shutdown's aftershock.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced Nov. 6 it will reduce air traffic by up to 10% across 40 major airports beginning Nov. 7, citing mounting fatigue and staffing shortages in air traffic control.
