PICKAWAY – A high-speed pursuit across Pickaway County came to a dramatic end on a December afternoon on 12/11/24 with the arrest of Eddie Dwayne Nobile, 42, who was wanted on multiple charges, including an active Franklin County warrant.

The chase began around 2 p.m. on that day after several 911 calls reported an erratic driver veering off the roadway on US-23. Deputies from the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office located a silver Chrysler minivan exiting the highway at the Circleville Cloverleaf and attempting to head into downtown Circleville. When a deputy tried to initiate a traffic stop, the driver made a sudden U-turn and sped westbound on State Route 22/56, fleeing the city limits.
