With only one regular-season game remaining for area high school football teams, not many things are considered definite.
The only things that are guaranteed before the Week 10 games take place are:
Two sets of unbeaten Tigers -- Bentonville and Mansfield -- have secured first-round playoff byes. The only difference is Mansfield, the 3A-1 Conference's top seed, knows it has home playoff games as long as it keeps winning, while Bentonville still has some business to settle Friday night.
Elkins knows it owns the top seed in the 4A-1 Conference and could have up to three home playoff games.
