Syracuse, N.Y. -- InterFaith Works has named Chris Foley as its new president and CEO.
He replaces long-time CEO Beth Broadway, who retired at the end of October after 25 years at the agency that serves refugees across Syracuse and Central New York.
Foley worked for the United States Agency for International Development for the past 17 years, until the agency closed in July 2025. He most recently was a deputy mission director in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Before that, he worked for USAID in Washington, D.C., as the director of Partnerships for the Power Africa program. He was the director of program resource management for Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Pacific Islands, and Mongolia.
Prior to that he worked for USAID in Zambia, Afghanistan, Brazil and the U.S.
