YORKTON — A Yorkton chiropractor is among those from across the province participating in the Toasty Toes Sock Drive.
Dr. Bailey Skoretz with BK Spine Center said she started her involvement with the campaign in 2022, after it had taken a couple of years off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I think it’s a great opportunity to provide people in Saskatchewan with socks, because it’s cold out. And the association chose the Toasty Toes with the sock drive because the shelters don’t get enough socks. That’s the one thing they ask for is socks, so that’s why I decided to get involved with the Toasty Toes,” she said.
She believes the support has been good over the years, helping the campaign be successful. She was happy with the number collected last year, but she noted she could always get more
