Peel Regional Police say the body of a women who died in a Brampton car crash over the weekend was not discovered until investigators later checked the demolished car at the impound yard.
Cops say it was only when the 20-year-old was reported missing later on Nov. 1 – the day of the crash – that they investigated furth and found her body following the two-car collision.
Emergency crews arrived at the crash in the area of Chinguacousy Rd. and Queen St. where they a found a 31-year-old man dead inside a Honda Civic and removed his body from the vehicle.
Police say because there was no “immediate or clear indication” of a passenger in the Honda, the wrecked car was towed, along with the other vehicle involved, to a police impound yard where it would be further examined.
