Detroit sports radio is spreading its waves all around the state.
On Thursday, Nov. 6, Audacy announced that WXYT-FM (97.1 The Ticket) will be the flagship station of a new statewide radio network, bringing the Detroit sports radio station to five different markets across the state from Kalamazoo to Lansing to Roscommon starting on Dec. 1.
In practical terms, that means you'll be able to tune into the station's programming, which includes live events and talk shows, with your car radio in some of the state's biggest metro areas outside of Detroit.
Here are the five affiliate radio stations that will soon carry programming from 97.1.
WFGR-FM 98.7 (Grand Rapids).
WJIM-AM 1240 (Lansing).
WBCK-FM 95.3 (Battle Creek).
WKMI-AM 1360 (Kalamazoo).
WGRY-FM 101.1 (Roscommon).
