MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- An investigation is underway after police say a 37-year-old victim was killed in a shooting Thursday morning, Nov. 6.

It happened near 33rd and Meinecke around 9:33 a.m. during a "confrontation."

Officials say the victim was taken to an area hospital where they died of their injuries.

The suspect, a 26-year-old woman, was arrested.

Police say criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County DA's Office in the coming days.
