(NewsNation) — Peloton is voluntarily recalling seat posts for Original Series Bike+ models over concerns they can break during use.

The recall applies to Original Series Bike+ models made between December 2019 and July 2022, identified by their PL02 model number.

The affected bikes have a serial number beginning with "T," which can be found on the inside of the front fork, behind the front fork or behind the flywheel.

The seat post can break during use, causing potential fall risk or injury to consumers. Peloton said it has received three reports of broken seat posts out of 833,000 units sold in the U.S.

The company is offering a free replacement seat post.
