BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Former LSU football head coach released a statement on social media after being fired from the university ahead of the matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Brian Kelly was fired after the 49-25 loss to Texas A&M this season in Tiger Stadium. At the end of Kelly's time as head coach, the Tigers were 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) this season.
Kelly shared a message to LSU Football fans. Read the statement below.
