The Board of Aldermen rejected another of Mayor Michael Doenges' nominees this week.

When the board overruled Clair Purcell's appointment to the planning commission in September, it was the first time the aldermen shot down a mayoral appointment since 2013. Since then, the board unanimously approved the nominations of Jared Blake to the planning commission and April Cioffi as recreation superintendent.
