The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who died after being struck by a vehicle during an illegal “sideshow” event in south Reno as Hunter N. Goodbear, 19, of Fallon.

Goodbear was pronounced dead Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Renown Regional Medical Center, the medical examiner’s office said. His manner of death was ruled accidental, caused by complications of multiple blunt force injuries from a pedestrian-sedan collision.

The crash occurred about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, near Riggins Court and Meadow Wood Lane during an illegal street event where drivers perform stunts in front of crowds, Reno police said.
