MIDDLETOWN, Conn. —
Malloves Jewelers in Middletown is a family business that’s run through three generations of owners.
Current owner Marc Levin has operated the store for more than 30 years but now he says it’s time to call it a career. Right now, the business is offering a sale before it closes down this December in hopes that customers can experience the Levin charm one more time.
The store itself has brought Middletown 97 years of history, love and passion. Many customers will say it’s been Middletown’s go to place for heartfelt gifts, but now Levin is ready to close the shop just three years shy of the 100-year anniversary.
After working at the store for 10 years, Marc Levin took over the business 33 years ago from his father “Buzzy” Levine.
