Boston Legacy FC has attracted a number of high profile investors as its inaugural season approaches in 2026.

The newest of the group is University of Southern California women’s basketball star JuJu Watkins. Watkins, who is in her junior year with the Trojans, joins a list of investors that includes Bears quarterback Caleb Williams , Indiana Fever forward Aliyah Boston , and Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens.

“Boston Legacy FC is creating a space for women to achieve, lead, and inspire others at the highest level, and I’m proud to be part of the movement pushing women’s sports forward,” Watkins said in a statement.
