Closing arguments at the jury trial for the man accused of second-degree murder in the 2006 death of Misha Pavelick have been pushed back until next week.
A now 36-year-old man is on trial at Court of King's Bench in Regina, accused of fatally stabbing Pavelick, 19, at the Kinookimaw campground near Regina Beach, northwest of Regina, on May 21, 2006.
The identity of the man accused is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, because he was 17 years old at the time. He has pleaded not guilty.
The Crown rested its case earlier this week, and the defence said it would not be presenting evidence.
