MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Thursday afternoon brings increasingly windy conditions across southern Wisconsin with south winds gusting reaching 25 to 35 mph. Light rain showers will move through the area tonight as moisture increases from the south. These showers will be scattered across the central and eastern parts of southern Wisconsin, with lighter activity expected in the western areas. Most locations will see less than a quarter inch of rain.
Friday starts with the showers ending as a cold front moves through the region. Northwest winds will pick up behind the front, and there may be a few additional light showers Friday afternoon and evening.
