MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A pedestrian was injured after a hit-and-run in Midtown and taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon, according to Memphis police.
Before 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a hit-and-run accident where a male pedestrian was struck in the 2700 block of Union Extd.
When officers arrived, they located the pedestrian, who was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Police said the driver of the vehicle left the scene, and this is an ongoing investigation.
