Prince Harry wants Canada to know he’s really, really sorry — and that he’s a Blue Jays fan through and through.

“I want to apologize to Canada,” the British royal said Thursday in Toronto, while wearing a Blue Jays hat.

The offence in question? Wearing a Dodgers hat while watching Game 4 of the World Series in Los Angeles with his wife, Meghan Markle , despite the fact that Harry is in line for the throne of Canada — and that he lived in British Columbia for several months after he and Markle left their duties as working royals in 2020.

“I was under duress,” Harry told CTV News in an interview on Thursday, during his second day of his Toronto visit. “There wasn’t much choice.”
