Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum was groped and attempted to be kissed by a man while greeting supporters in Mexico City. On Wednesday, the president stated that she had filed criminal charges against the man after learning that he had continued to harass other women after groping her.
The incident took place on Tuesday while Mexico's first female president was walking to a public event, France 24 reported. According to the now-viral videos, the drunken man approached her from behind, put his arm around her shoulder and then touched her chest and hip with his other hand while attempting to kiss her.
