SHREVEPORT, La. — One of the most anticipated events at the State Fair of Louisiana returned this week.

The Junior Livestock Sale hosted by the ArkLaTex Agricultural Council wrapped up Wednesday at the fairgrounds.

The annual event highlights the hard work of students from across the state who spend months preparing their animals for competition and auction.

"It feels amazing. It makes you feel like you have actually done something with your pigs and animals. If you make the sale, it makes you feel really good about yourself and that you worked really hard," said Sadee Williams.
