Serie A side Genoa have appointed Daniele De Rossi as their new manager after dismissing Patrick Vieira, the club announced on Thursday, as they strive to move out of the relegation zone.
Genoa fired Frenchman Vieira following a winless start to their season, which included three draws and six losses, leaving them at the bottom of the standings.
