MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) – Members of the community got to hear from leaders about how the City of Palisade is doing in things like education, local politics, and national to county-wide issues.

The overall consensus?

They're doing just peachy.

"The state of Palisade is better than ever right now," said Mayor Pro-Tem Jamie Somerville. "We have a really diverse economy. We have several things that are factoring into our agritourism economy. It's broader than it used to be, it's not just peaches, it's not just wine, it's not just the other things that we export. It's all of those things working together, and it's being managed really well right now."
